My stainless steel 5712, purchased from AD in early January has the Patek seal. It looks pretty cool to me. I'm sure it is much nicer than the cheap ones they used to make with that crummy old Geneva seal! Steve
My new sealed in its box 5196G has been sat in a dark corner of my AD's safe since before Christmas. Patek here in the UK, were kind enough to check the serial number with Geneva and hey presto the details came back stating that it had the PP seal.
