Patek Philippe

I'd take a 5712.

There's just something about it that attracts me.

The caliber is great and reliable, but also pretty to behold. I also like how the microrotor allows you to view the entire top of the movement, unlike the more common full rotor (either 180- or 110-degree).

The power reserve indicator could be omitted because it's kind of redundant in self-winding watches. I prefer dials with a symmetrical layout, but I'm prone to make an exception in this instance. It could be fun to see version without the power reserve indicator as it might bring more balance to the dial.

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the low water resistance, because I don't wear watches when swimming or diving. However, I do understand, if some people misses the 120 meter water resistance from a historical standpoint (i.e. 3700).

The moon phase and caliber are the deciding factors for me.
