I wrote: "I would not buy a PP without a Cert, and I would be at least reluctant to buy a PP with a Cert that has been altered in any way." Not true. I would. It would factor into the price however (as it would affect resell) and I would have to have comfort with the seller. Autowind has it right in my opinion. I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote this.

Obviously, it depends on the cost and model of the watch. However, most collectors insist on Certificate of Origin for more expensive recent watches - 5050/ 5970/etc. They would surely be miffed if there was no Certificate and would pay far less...un fact...
