I suppose the Patek is leaving the room to produce the new 5339R... I agree with you. 3939H is historical. Its fade out because people like the big watches! Haha!
Hopefully they'll one day be able to take out the tools for the 3939H and start making the 3939H again. I have a grain of hope! The 5127 was reintroduced after a year-long hiatus. I hope they bring back the 3939H!
but went into hibernation meaning that they could certainly be re-introduced at a later date. The only pieces I know won't come back are the limited editions...Pagoda, campaign, 10 day power reserve, etc. But quite a lot has changed over the past 30 years...
