10-year anniversary - Nautilus 5712
It has been ten years...the watch has brought me so much happiness and satisfaction. It still has the old Seal of Geneva, it still has the bracelet with screws, it still has the old dial printing with "Patek Philippe" and "Geneve" printed on two different bars.
The bracelet is the most comfortable one I have ever tried, it's thin and well polished. The best part for me is the case shape and the dial. The blue dial reflects light well both indoor and in the strong sunshine outdoor. One of few exceptions for a Patek indeed, as most Pateks look nicer indoor to my eyes.
Interestingly, this is also one of very very few asymmetric dial layouts that I really love. Its siblings such as 5054, 5055, 5015 somehow look not that "generous" and pleasant in my very humble opinion.
Last but not least, my observation shows that screw quality in Nautilus as well as the hole matching precision are visibly over those in Rolex Oyster bracelet. Also no Loctite is necessary for Nautilus screws, which makes the bracelet length adjustment much easier and safer.
