5065A Full Tritium Full Luminova or a MIX

Hi Fellow Watch Enthusiast !

Question what is you views on a watch such as the 5065A.

Some examples are full tritium, more pricey but a nice look due to the patina.

Some latest models and revised ones are full luminova, cool modern look and possibly still usable in low light conditions.

Some are mixed not sure if it out of production but some have hands replaced after a service, the look feels a bit odd what are your views on these ones ?

I might have a deal on such a model but I fear to see the watch a a kind of a Frankenstein missing a clean look either modern or vintage, all though it seems an acceptable mix in the collector universe.

I fell a bit lost.

Thank you for your advice.

Cheers,
K

If it’s for a routine use, dos t matter as tritium will eventually be replaced during service. as it starts to break into pieces. BUT, if all versions are priced the same, go with whichever you like (t ….it’s nicer) as you’re not paying a premium for some...

Interesting question !
