As stated before, I am struggling with the unbefitting choice of font for the dial as well as the bezel.
I have been to Bucherer yesterday, and they actually had a 5131, which I could have a look at. In real life, the watch looks much more delicate. As with many watches, the forum close-ups dont really help as they make the watch look comical.
In real life, it has a very "warm" feel.

Interesting mix of dials
I\'ve noticed that there seems to be a roughly 50:50 mix of 5131R\'s with and without the polar ice cap showing.
Good observation Russell ! For me, I prefer the dial ...
with the ice cap because it is a more true depiction of the world and add more color to the dial !
For me both versions of the 5131R are alike and all versions are totally worth it

I think the yellow gold version of this watch is the best, it really brings out the colors of the dial. You must love wearing it. Tony
