This is my first manual chrono Patek and it’s great! Some observations:
- Wears very well and does not feel large as (for me ~6.75ish wrist) with its thin case profile and shape.
- So comfortable I forget it’s on the wrist
Had an 1815 BE before and I remember it felt noticeably taller/thicker (might be because of the case shape. The thickness with the smaller diameter made it wear more hockey-puckish).
- Thought the pump pushers would bother me but they actually don’t once on the wrist. They feel great too when used - especially the chrono reset.
- Stepped lugs are actually pretty cool as they catch the light at different angles in the sun and add a little more character to the watch
- Blue dial has many different shades (depending on light of course) and can pass off as a black watch In low light/night
- Arabic numbers are noticeably unique from the same style numbers on the Aquanaut
Overall a very wearable and not too formal piece that’s not an Aquanaut/Nautilus with a great back side!
