After watching my small collection of "sport" watches grow with some lovely pieces - Blancpain Aqualung, Royal Oak Jumbo, Pam 91, and JLC Squadra - I've given them all up for a new 5711-1A. It's even nicer than I expected - slimmer, easy on the wrist, a subtle but confident presence. This feels like a daily watch, a keeper. I have owned one other Patek - a simple Calatrava - which I found rather boring at the time. But this Nautilus has real character. I'm delighted with it. I'd post a pic, but my camera skills won't do it justice.
