Just having a discussion and I want to know which of these you would keep. So you own both and want to sell one. Would you KEEP the 5070R or would you keep the 5711/a btw, a poll function on this site would be welcome ...
Ummmmmmmm let me think š¤ Low production chronograph complication V Over hyped Unattractive large production sports watch. 5070 all day long. Or sell both and get a 5970 M.
There is only one Nautilus by Genta There are many chronograph which is comparable or arguably better. You can even go to the super gorgeous 5370 Oh my God, I cant even mention 5370 without taking a deep breath
Steel entry level watches will come and go; the 5070 remains in a class by itself. Once you peel away all the hype, objectively there really is no comparison. Whenever i think of the 5711, two words come to mind: irrational, exuberance.
I find it very inappropriate to mock a reference some members here own, love and cherish including me,You have the right to dislike a watch but to attack with words like āhideously uglyā is āhideously uglyā ! You are violating the forum rules and you have ...
Iāll keep all opinions to myself in future. I did try to find other words but struggled. I personally think overhyped is equally strong as ugly which seems to be regularly used here and acceptable. Having a good laugh at the choice is another way someone ...
from falling off a cliff, which one would you save? It's sorta like that question. I think no matter what decision you make in a scenario like this, you're going to wonder from time to time if you made the right decision.
In that case I would sell the 5711 for major profit, buy a Royal Oak stainless black or gray dial from an AP boutique for $19k for daily wear as a sports watch, and then have a significant amount of profit from the 5711 to put towards whatever it is you m...
but got into the discussion on that other forum and just wanted to check if my feeling was still ok Look at my avatar, do you think I would sell a 5070 (I did not start that other post, I'm not selling anything )
That one would probably more fitted to be worn by your grand children's wedding in the future š. For Nautilus, I just think that it was a little bit overhyped and more into a fashion statement piece rather than pure watchmaking art in a nutshell... Best J...
Both very different yet both great. 5711A is a very versatile watch which one can wear almost in all occasions. Truly comfortable and amazingly beautiful. One of my personal most preferred modern Nautilus together with 5712 and 5980. 5070 is a cool classi...
They are very different, but both can be worn with a suit - your choice depending on your character: do you want something more official or more sporty?
the Nautilus/Aquanaut/Royal Oak bubble will eventually burst, but the 5070 series has proved itself over the long term. In the end, "classic" always wins because everybody comes back around to it, eventually. -Dean
