5970R feedback

first Happy holidays season everyone...
after thinking for almost a year of the 5740, i could not convince myself to pay the money since i was not convinced of the white gold... despite the watch being so beautiful.
i am now considering the 5970R... i have a 5270P (Salmon dial), but i just felt the 5970 have lots of history and the rose gold makes it even more historical...
anyone have views on the 5970R? honestly never been into vintage, but this one got my attention... and has a close price to the 5740, so financially, there is not much difference...
thanks for anyone who has experience with the 5970R...
Happy new year...

Yeah.. I agree

5740s and even the new 5270s do not have a function to advance the calendar indications all together - both requires the date to be set to the 1st when performing any corrections.. which is really troublesome
Definitely the 5970R
