I just traded a couple of watches for the cash needed for funding an Aquanaut 5167 1a. Things all started two weeks ago when the salesman of my acquaintance invited me to have a look at some of the newly stocked items. I dropped by the AD this morning to ...  

If it was me, I would not trade-off this way..I like the 3 pieces you sacrificed :(

Its my first time seeing a 5167 with bracelet as most sold in my country are in rubber, and, it looks fabulous! Congrats on your new beau!

a couple of years ago I have tried this Patek Philippe in London, it's more like a love at first try than at first sight. I seriously considered at this time selling everything single watch I owned but.... I resisted ...  

I have the same set of couples watches as well. Eventually, got another 5167R for my wife! I love the 5167/1A. It's very comfortable and perfect for everyday. Congrats!

It is quite difficult to find a watch that feels nearly 100% of our criteria/needs etc... You'll be able to do everything with this Aquanaut and, yes, Patek's bracelets are top notch among all brands. Thanks a lot for sharing this "piece of life" Luis and...

To be honest, I made this decision without consulting my wife in advance. Thankfully, she is 100% with me (and you) on this "Less is more, quality over quantity" approach.

Looks perfect on your wrist. Good decision (imho). Regretted selling mine a few years ago. Wear it in good health !

Am myself very much in favour of the 5167/1A over the 5711 due simply to the bracelet. Much better IMO. And what a swell pairing with the 24 ! Huge congrats & Thanks for sharing a wonderful story !

Cool congrats but you need the rubber strap, first it goes great with the dial, and if you think it's comfortable on bracelet wait until you wear it on rubber…

for this reference and having had one when first released years ago, it was one of the most comfortable watches out there as the rubber strap can be sized so precisely. I regret selling it. I would love to see the bracelet on this one for comfort Glad you...

You just bought the most comfortable watch I know. But do not try the Tropical band because if you do, your nice steel bracelet will stay on the top drawer and you will love your Aquanaut 5167 even more. I bought the same many years ago with bracelet and ...
