but if it is possible to make thing fairer which I believe there is as practised in the UK market, then, this should be adopted as a unified policy by Patek worldwide. There is always be some degree of unfairness but the whole objective is to minimise it. We should not be complacent and just accept unfairness when there is a way of improving things. In Malaysia for example, when the ceramic bezel steel daytona was released two years ago, ADs and boutiques were selling the watch at 45% above list. This was arguably unfair but still they managed to sell the watches. I feel if Rolex was more stringent with its ADs adopting the RRP, this practice would not be allowed. In Europe, it would be a huge crime for an AD to sell a Daytona about the RRP. Unfairness persists because the brands are failing to adopt a common policy which they are able to if they want to.
