It is just more versatile and can go anywhere. But if i already have another sport watch, i would go for the Other patek. To be honest, i would buy a more rugged sport watch like Omega seamaster or rolex steel sport, and let go the 5726. I dont think 5726... 

I’ve worn the 5726 for years now to meetings, summer vacations, and many trips to the pool. It’s incredibly versatile. I won’t reveal my choice yet, but your sentiments are sound.

...I tried one on (a friend's) and it is a very nice fit. The black dial (enamel!) gives it a formal or sporty look...it is a chronograph after all. And the complication is just really hard to find, and very fun to play with : ) If I wanted something wate... 

Agree with your observations that the 5370 is far more versatile than most give it credit, and more to play with!! I haven’t put the 5370 in the pool, perhaps we could try that last theory?

No date takes the cake. I have reached that point in my life where less is more.

And forgo the other…this is not a one watch question, but you can’t have both a Nautilus and a 5370 in your collection.

There’s a reason one retails for like 5x as much.

Personally I would choose 5370P because of the split seconds and enamel dial. How is your thought process for these two ?

But my answer will be the same as others, and for pretty much the same reasons. The nautilus is a splendid watch, but I prefer the classical look and complication of the one next to it. Even if it were in G and had a standard chronograph I would still cho... 

...after all, you're posing the question on a site for serious horological aficionados, not on insta where herd hyping happens (primarily to, er, 'sheeple' heh heh 🐑)

And it seems even more than 'mostly' -- rather akin to challenging members of a speedway freaks forum to pick only one of the Porsches in this pic... (pic from a web image search for 'cayenne 911gt3' 😹) ...  

I would take the 5370 over 3 Nautilus (Nautilli?).

….if the Nautilus was on a bracelet, and if that Nautilus was of similar function (split) and this was to be my only watch then I’d go with the Nautilus. A better everyday package.

Note that this isn't about an only-1-watch life. Beyond the one PP chosen from the two above, we can also have [e.g.] APROs, Rolexes, even other PPs (tiffy-nauti anyone?). In such a scenario, no ifs needed. As has been noted by others, it's a no-brainer o...

Maybe less so among this community, but I don’t think I’d have to venture too far to see the answers sway heavily towards “Nautilus”.

This was indeed a bit of fun. I haven’t posted on any forums in a few years. I am amazed at the amount of discussion (hype?) the Nautilus generates from mainstream watch media to social media platforms. It’s is nice to think there is still a place where t... 

And to prove it to you, if you ever tire of that lovely 5370P and want to trade it for a Nautilus sport model, I would be MORE THAN happy to offer ANY of mine to you based on secondary market values for both your 5370P and whatever Nautilus you choose. In...
