Patek Philippe

I was recently assessing my collection. My aim is to decide my Top 5 Patek Philippe. I show these two as they are sitting at No.5 and No.6! I just cannot decide between them. It was just an academic exercise to see what my overall collection would look li...

Yes...the simplicity of the 570 is very appealing.....

The Amagnetic is not my cup of tea as it is Bauhaus design. But the 570G is a real knock out! Best Moritz

......but 3417 got the spot

For me, I would vote 3417 but close call. Mostly as I would believe it would find more wristtime. 570 carries more PP DNA in my opinion, but 3417 is quite special! At least on pictures as I have yet to encounter one in the wild... one day... perhaps

It\'s hurting my head. How can we choose! I\'d say the Amagnetic 3417, I\'m a steel watch guy and I could imagine myself wearing that a bit more. But only a bit more!

....this isn't a decision about selling one...but rather which of the two would make it to a final collection "if" it was just between these two for the last spot. That is a binary world that doesn't exist...but if it did....? I would go 3417...JUST....bu... 

3448 5070P 3417 570 3466 easy I am not a fan of time zone watches but I can see the appeal - now if there was a theme of completeness then the 3466 would have to go for the 5575

......but the 5575 is in there...3448...of course...5070P....yes......3417....yes. And a small surprise coming soon.....

You could combine 3448 and 5070 into a 1518 or 2499? Did anyone see how low the 3970 sold for at AQ this week- crazy cheap - a great way into the perpetual chromo Yes I know there were many made and sold but still - around 60k . Look at a simple 2 handed ...

3448, 5070, 3417, 570, 5575 would be my guess (in that order)… but given your comment I am guessing 570 gets pushed out by 2509 amag which I find spectacular as well. No rights or wrongs to be passed by us, the only right is what you prefer!

.....the 2509 Amag is very special...it has a place in my heart. I bought it at auction where the auction house described it as having incorrect hands...i looked at it, and i just thought that was wrong. I bought it (nobody else bid!!) and sent it to Gene... 

The 570 has this case shape I like very much and quite unusual (as very straight sides compared to rounder ones from the same epriod). I liek that specific feature. The 3417 has a lot of charm, less strict. Their classic side is different as well especial... 

whichever one is superior, condition wise. In vintage, for me condition trumps rarity. In real estate it is said "location, location, location". For me, in watches it is "condition, condition condition". Of course the ultimate is rarity + condition. So si...
