To each his own. Maybe OP should post that are his feelings. I am not a huge fan of either one. I personally think there are much better looking Patek out there. The new 5172 or 5740 are up there, but those are just my feelings.

The 5131 is far too much $$$$$$$$$ for me!!!! I personally prefer the 5110 with the hints to the 2523 5110 - best dial, best hands 5130 - best size

Especially with a JLC stainless steel bracelet for the summer and a casa Fagliano watch strap for winter.

Although, in my opinion, the 5110J is more elegant, by being more monochromatic...PT is extravagant always.....
