I'm sure you mean Yellow gold and that is correct in the beginning the 5070J was more easy obtainable but that was only the 4 first years, white gold changed that in 2002 so after 4 years you could't just buy them anymore
Maybe other readers could confirm or deny that. What did they experienced in their country. I did try more than one AD and I never found a G or R for sale. there were waiting lists, mostly 2 or 3 guys were before you
But with only 250 per year and about 450 AD in the world ... 2 or 3 people on the waiting list before you was the same as ... be very patient or just forget it

That's a problem
If you consider that in Paris there are quite a few long-time collectors, it means you have great chances to never get a limited version if you're a "normal" client with 2 or 3 pieces. This is indeed a problem.

but frankly, if I can't get one from the Salon, it will be hard from Wempe too. I asked them for the 175th 5975 chrono but they didn't receive any of this kind of pieces. I know what I'll have to do next time :) Cheers, Mark
