I made my choice...
I can't deny 5170 is a nice PP for sure, but the one that talks to my heart, the one that brings emotion to me and has haunted my thoughts for long before I find the opportunity to pull the trigger is the 5070. And I did not hesitate for one second when I had a chance to do it in spite of the obvious financial effort that came with it...

That's a problem
If you consider that in Paris there are quite a few long-time collectors, it means you have great chances to never get a limited version if you're a "normal" client with 2 or 3 pieces. This is indeed a problem.

but frankly, if I can't get one from the Salon, it will be hard from Wempe too. I asked them for the 175th 5975 chrono but they didn't receive any of this kind of pieces. I know what I'll have to do next time :) Cheers, Mark

5070j or in any noble metal is a very handsome watch.
