I originally thought that the crown of my ref.2471 was replaced as happyguy1688 said. Because the crowns fitted with those rectangular models in the same period have basically no calatrava cross on the crown.
But I've been wondering the calatrava cross on the crown of my ref.2471 is much thiner (or shallow) than that of other crowns with calatrava cross. I will later add some pics of crowns for comparison.
I can see Roni's one looks similar to mine's. Is this because PP service center polished the crown to remove the calatrava cross??? Or the calatrava cross on the crowns in a certain period was very light???
Any idea?

I have just had a look at mine.
I cannot see what distinguishes which model has a calatrava crown vs thos that do not. I ma not sure you can say those with a calatrava cross are service replacements Nice watches everyone Julian
