Patek Philippe

Do the math

I do the math differently. Apparantly this watch is 700K USD. Multiply this by 365 to get one year. That gets me $255m a year.

Ackman, although not official earned more than $700m last year. Lets say his wealth doesnt increase by that amount going forward.
But only by half. That would still leave him with $100m left over even after a Patek every single day. And he has already $2.5bn in the bank.

Wheny your a billionaire the compounding theory works strongly in your favor even if you technically do nothing.

So not only could he buy one every single day. He probably could buy 2-3 every single day and not really feel a difference.

I thought I would point this out to you.
