Patek Philippe

Duaphine hour markers

Thank you for your kind comments. Yes the box is original to the watch delivered to H. Pleister in Regent Street London.

John, I was told by the archive department that all watches manufactured by Patek (and others) during this period of time, referred to this type of numeral as "dauphine"!!
If you do an internet search of Pateks from this period with these style of numerals on the dial, sold by the large auction houses with extracts from the archives, they are almost all referred to as "dauphine hour markers". When this changed, I don't know!!
Regards,
Steve.
