If your opinion is that a Celestial does not meet your expectations for the money then you're right not to pursue one. For those of us who do covet this complication, however, it all makes terrific sense. I'll let you in on a very unexpected observation I've made. The 6102P is a wonderful sporty watch that compliments casual clothing. I actually purchased this piece with the thought that it would look great in a formal setting. The truth is, however, that with indoor lighting the wonder of the dial is pretty much lost. It's rather dark and difficult to appreciate the complexity of the Milky Way. In sunlight, on the other hand, the dial becomes vibrant and is truly spectacular. With blue jeans, an open shirt and a casual sport coat it's an absolute killer! Like nearly all Patek pieces it's "relatively" understated so only those who know ... know ... but when one asks to see it and they step outside in the sun their face lights up like the dial.😃

I've seen the 6102P a year ago and indeed, I'm also very attracted by the way the sky has been represented and what it brings in terms of poetry. Maybe that the 44mm are necessary for such a dial... I've never found any problem in having a smaller movemen...

I'm not sure if your premise that a Celestial is less complicated than a perpetual is true? While it is a fact that a Perpetual has a lot more dials, this may NOT be the only measure of complexity. Indeed, the 5078 only displays Hours, Minutes and Seconds...
