Bank will not pay you if something wrong with your watch. I put my watches in many different locations. I feel more safe n this way.

Normally, I put my watches in the paper box before I put them into safety box.

Held by Rhone not the AD. The watches are by Rhone not the AD. So even if you went to multiple dealers the request would still go through Rhone. I may be speaking out of turn but Rhone discourages multiple AD and encourages loyalty. Recently 2 forum memb... 

I understand Rhone hold the paper for two years, but there is no reason to hold my 5131R document and without an explanation. I always be a loyal customer and good customer. I am upset without receiving the document.

Both views. I actually used it as a positive an offered Rhone to keep my papers for 5 years on 5131P. That way they could see I had no intention of flipping the watch and it gave them comfort that it was finding the correct t home.

I can understand their intent to discourage "flippers" from getting certain pieces, but I just find a similar practice unacceptable. In Italy the distribution begins with Patek Italia in Milano, so in a sense it's also "centralized", since Milano then ess... 

Its Rhone policy that the papers are held on 5131's for a period if 2 years. I didnt think to ask if AD or Rhone kept them. I just thought a Pepsi and Batman and both warranty cards were retail ed by the AD

PP should establish a uniform policy. I do not mind PP holds my paper, but not my document. How much loyalty that I have to show in order to earn their trust? This discourage me to buy PP watch if my AD does not know what kind of customer I am.

You have an excellent relationship with Jamie, speak to him and ask him? I think you said you had received your‘Certificate of Authenticity’ - what else are Rhone holding? That is all they hold and even then they give you a photocopy of it.

I do not like to complain, but I already send three email and polite asking him I do not receive the document. He just does not want to answer me. Sometimes, I ask for price list. He just do not to give it to me. Thank you for helping me to solve the prob... 

I honestly can’t tell you what I’d be doing with absolute certainty since I haven’t found myself in in a similar situation here with an AD or distributor, but they certainly do make it harder to buy under such unfriendly conditions😉

Otherwise, as a last resort contacting Rhone and having a chat with them should help. There might be bigger customers than you (this is always the case with anybody!), but you are certainly a top flight Patek collection and customer of that AD, so I belie...

It is so hard to get enamel watch from London, especially you are foreign customer because of loyalty. got my black 5077 from Taiwan and red 5077 from London. I have to change my mind because I can not get what I want from UK even I am very loyal to my AD...  

Rhone only held my certificate of authenticity- everything else came with the piece originally. They police the 2 year period to the day, my AD requested the certificate a couple of weeks early and they were told no. It arrived to the day two years after ...

PP does not offer the paper box now unless you have a very good relationship with your AD.
