I am loyalty to London AD more than 10 years. I also introduced my friends to him, but I feel he treats my friends better than me now. My AD even do not send me a price list and catalog recently. Now I am upsetting not receiving my 5131R document after owning a 5131R more than 2 years. I wrote 3 emails to him and ask why? He has not give me any reason. I just do not understand at all. Then he expects me to buy more watches from him. I just do not know why.

Sometimes, Bank safety box is not safe.
Bank will not pay you if something wrong with your watch. I put my watches in many different locations. I feel more safe n this way.
I use the box as a display box more than storage box.

Both views. I actually used it as a positive an offered Rhone to keep my papers for 5 years on 5131P. That way they could see I had no intention of flipping the watch and it gave them comfort that it was finding the correct t home.

Geneva should probably establish a uniform policy across all markets, and I hope that keeping or seizing documents belonging to the most valued customers won’t be part of it..😉

PP should establish a uniform policy. I do not mind PP holds my paper, but not my document. How much loyalty that I have to show in order to earn their trust? This discourage me to buy PP watch if my AD does not know what kind of customer I am.

You have an excellent relationship with Jamie, speak to him and ask him? I think you said you had received your‘Certificate of Authenticity’ - what else are Rhone holding? That is all they hold and even then they give you a photocopy of it.

That would be precisely my problem with this policy — the distrust that it so overtly implies.
I honestly can’t tell you what I’d be doing with absolute certainty since I haven’t found myself in in a similar situation here with an AD or distributor, but they certainly do make it harder to buy under such unfriendly conditions😉
I guess it depends if you are the first time buyer thankful of the level playing field or the big time buyer aggrieved at being treated in this way.
Of course every big time buyer was a first timer once. 😉

I do not resell my 5131. Document is part of my deal. I must have it. I just need a reason why.
I'm not familiar with your AD, but this obviously sounds like an unpleasant situation. Perhaps just a chat on the phone, or even a visit when you are in the area, will help clear up any possible misunderstanding? :-)
Otherwise, as a last resort contacting Rhone and having a chat with them should help. There might be bigger customers than you (this is always the case with anybody!), but you are certainly a top flight Patek collection and customer of that AD, so I belie...
