But this watch was just beautiful and worth the cost of restoration.

get one of the trusted experts here to light the path!! The movements of the vintage Calatravas are superb....and after all, Patek is where it is because of the greatness of its history......

you are going to go through restoration of a vintage Patek, it really does not matter much if the watch runs or not. I try to the either the very best I can find or the worst example and then restore. As long as the case is in good shape, no deep marks, P...

Another 20 years of enjoyment. Of course the movement must be serviced every 5 to 7 years. My opinion , it also depends on your usage. If every day then even 4.5 years. Best wishes.

570 is among the coolest Calatravas, and now in this splendid condition again even much more. PP does a great job in restoration and for quite a reasonable cost. They obviously did not change your dial but only cleaned it, fantastic result 👍👌. Wear it in ... 

Patek is one of the very very few watchmakers able to service and restore every watch they've made since day one. I used to own a sample made back in 1881, according to the archive it was sold as a stand alone movement so it explains the funny US made, VE...
