Francois, to answer your questions specifically,
I would swap the AC with the Dato anytime. I never owned any AC (and therefore I can't feel for one) but I have 3 Patek PC and the Dato so know them very well. In my opinion, knowing the Dato, I would only go for this.

I'm not a fan of the sector dial. If it was the plain dial, it would be a harder decision to make.

I do uderstand the appeal for a Date, a Day Date, a Triple Date, a Perpetual Calmendar, but the " in between " AC, I don't like this idea. With the Dato you just enter the fabulous family off fine Chronographs. There are not that many which can compete it...
