Which is exactly what I told my father-in-law when he passed his watches on to me. No Pateks, but several lovely Rolex pieces (one PN Daytona, for example).
I wear one for its heirloom value, but all my other Pateks are stuff I bought for myself with my hard-earned money, no inheritance.
