Many do not know of this watch but it is the best of the 5153s around.

Yepp the applied breguet numerals look really classy

I too would have bought this piece if it did not have a date window!

Yes the date window was a dilemma for me too..

I’ve 5153G and yes this has a lovely vintage charm. A gentleman’s daily watch…

that it would be too dressy/formal.. but the good thing abt Gs are they are very versatile..

I think this is a total winner of Patek's. Congratulations!

Actually I also like a lot the regular yellow gold model with guilloche dial and golden vaulted PP logo.

So the regular 5153s weren’t really on my radar

Whereas the guilloche dials are a bit on the rococo side, I must admit.

The nato does bring out the trench watch in this one..

It'd be even better without the date window, but it's only a minor point. Great watch!

I even did a photoshop version with an applied breguet 3 (shamelessly stolen from a 5078G) Perhaps i would find it too plain.. ...

The applied breguet numerals and hands were the reasons it edged out the 5296 sector

Wear it in the best of health! And often on a Nato ;-)

Thanks for your kind words Swapping straps on this one is quite tricky, so I will stick with the yellow leather for a while longer

Love the officer's case pieces. Cool look on the nato.

you were poisoned ☠️ by our Sham ! �� This London version is superb and the Brequet numerals are so elegant ! The Nato strap matches the dial well and the yellow strap spices the watch up. So both looks are good ��... 

Yeah both sam and sham are very effective influencers..

The case is really like a pocket watch.. and yes very charming indeed
