it looks like the one they have been fitting on the 5172 chrono. Blue calf skin if it is this one the only downside is that it gets dirty quickly ...

Sure, it is just like chris7509 said. The original PP calfskin blue strap that comes in the 5172. Blue color goes well with this reference so does green. I haven’t worn it out to the point that it discolors but my biggest comment on the original brown cro... 

Mine is on the blue “shiny” alligator strap. I should have a look at the catalogue to get one of these. Never tried the green straps but that’s an idea too 😊😊

Lovely watch. Unfortunately, mine is on the way to Henri Stern Agency as it started losing 12 minutes a day after 2 and a 1/2 years
