I am so glad to see you here again, and specially for sharing with us your joy of getting this new toy!
Big congrats my Did, I am so happy that you finally plunged for it after probably long hesitation (it has been quite some time that we discusses together about precisely this model).
As Oliver mentions, there is no good or bad choice or decision; the only thing that counts is to follow your own taste and you did the right thing.
As for me, it has been quite some time that I am thinking of a Nautilus as well, but I have to pulled the trigger yet.
Again big big congrats my Did' and hope to see you soon again (here or in the real life ;-))

It is an excellent choice. If you have other photos with the composite strap please share as it would be great to see how it interacts with the dial. I have thought about adding this to my 5712a as I find the two so different from each other. Congrats!

I had always wanted one too... Among the Annual Calendars, this Nautilus is a formidable contender. Personally I prefer the grey dial too. Makes the watch look softer..Even better it's lighter than those in precious metal. Cheers !
Softer perhaps, but...
for me, the grey dial is certainly much more modern than the blue one. Of course, it is only my opinion, the same for what I've written on the other Nautilus models.
