Your 17 cm wrist will perfectly welcome the 5970. I have the same wrist size than you, and have no problem with a 40 mm watch. The 5970 will become a cult watch. If it is not already the case. I don't see the problem to make the 5970 and the 130 co exist....
Much depends on which watch sings to you loudest. I don't think the 5970 is too big for a 17cm wrist .... the nature of the case allows it to wear very easily on a smaller wrist. Which one makes you smile most when it is on your wrist?
