....to me, deriving the end value point in monetary terms as an arbiter of success is not what drives me to buy a watch. The end value point is not a determinant in something's attraction with respect to watch collecting for me...i leave that to financial investments.

Hi Anthony, your thinking/question is similar to others even though the topic of value is not a focus of this forum.
Without crossing the line, generally I would think that any Patek Limited Edition, after being worn, would eventually trade no less than a regular reference in terms of percentage of retail price. Hope this is helpful. Cheers, Gordon
