I have never noticed this.
Many of my patients are visually impaired and I have spent time in low vision clinics; the trend seemed to be very large print analog watches or high contrast digital watches. It has shifted to more smart watch type that announces the date. I will inquire about braille watches and share any updates. Tangentially, this has always given me more appreciation for minute repeater (which if I’m not mistaken were initially popular amongst sighted, and wealthy, individuals who spent a lot of time in low lighting conditions).

braille watches are still in use among the visually impaired because of their simplicity and autonomy (no need to charge them electrically, just wind them manually). Best, Emmanuel

Yes indeed, over the decades PP has produced many interesting timepieces. It's easy to keep things going by re-introducing various complications / styles.
Making a 2026 version for someone famous and giving it to them seems logical, too.

PP has various such pieces. Hiring various watch makers over the many, many decades has benefits.
