I think this is also my opinion for now
I'm waiting to be able to hold one and try it, it is the only way to judge but I also liked the Pulsometric scale and I usually find the white writings/printings are a bit too contrasted on a black dial.
In the mean time I saw the 5370P and it looked perfect. I think it is also because the 5370P has a shiny dial (enamel) whereas the 5170 has a matte one.

I prefer the white dial in this reference. The white numbering on black is a little too much contrast for me plus I like the added info of the pulse meter,

The silver dial is more classical but the markings are much thinner than on the new black dial and I like that. Furthermore, the pulsometric scale is a detail I like a lot.
