It was not spur of the moment thing. It was a long time desire. Just never felt to be a PP man.
But it was sporty and many of the collectors I admire find it has a place in a collection.

I have 3712, 5711 and 5980 - all with steel bracelets and blue dials. Which one is my favourite? Honestly, I do not know. They all have their different charm. I guess better to have all three. Best, Kari

I have the 5711/1a and 5980/1A. The 5980 gets the most wristime of all my watches. The 5711 gets hardly any at all. I do like to look at it though. Kind of like the woman you marry vs. the woman you date. hahaha.

...or in AD window, i guess is not the very same on the wrist. my feeling is that, basically, is thicker but not fatter than the 5711. the size difference is .5mm

The 5980 is the largest. But, they are very nice complements. Having the 5712 in a third metal and dial makes a nice trio. I came close, but passed Best Joe
