Thank you for your very careful article!
Ignoring, for a moment, the exceptional collecting value of the watches you presented, I'm totaly struck by their variety and, at the same time, by their unique, timeless style. I'm sure it would be really possible to market now each of these timepieces, getting a great sales success!
I already knew some of these models and I also tried to propose a modern version of one of them, the Amagnetic (in my post I wrote: "I wanted to pay tribute to an inspired design, leaving me to be inspired by this, not plagiarizing it"). Another famous steel Patek Philippe inspired me the design of a platinum version for 5170. Here it is:

The photo comes from a publication that I bought at Patek Philippe Musuem. It's the Ref. 130, 1937 (Museum inventory number: P-1226), which is described this way: "The more precious stainless steel wristwatch in the world. Staybrite steel case, single pusher, pulsometric scale and 30 minutes counter, it's one of only two examples of this type ever made by Patek Philippe".
IMHO, it's one of the most beautiful watches ever designed.
Ciao!
