Patek Philippe

Hi There, Newbie post. I recently came in to posession of an antique Patek Philippe (at least I hope). It seems to be from the 20s to 30s and I havent had the chance to take it to a reputable place to open up and get a look at the caliber. I noticed the s...  

from the dial it is hard to say. The vintage pieces I've seen usually have Geneve (French spelling) not Geneva, but that doesn't mean the other wasn't used. and the "look" is right to my eyes. Here's a mens WW of similar vintage...  

.have a look at the movement and inner case markings, the dial and movement could be correct but the case may not be a patek philippe case.

The fact that is is written "Geneva" and not "Geneve" is not a real hint for a fake as I know of vintage ones with Geneva on the dial. Also: I very much doubt that Patek was so popular and, more logically, so well known that anybody would fake it. The cas...
