Irrelevant?
When someone spends that kind of money on a watch he is certainly entitled to be interested in whether it can stand up to extensive use. Thus, I think question #2 is very much relevant and valid.
It may be irrelevant in the sense that Pateks generally are not made for particularly hard use; if you want a watch in which to pursue your skydiving or scuba diving career you have better choices. Assuming that you are asking how durable the watches will be in normal wear (however you define that), you have a good question. I do not have an opinion on the subject, but I hope someone will provide you with a non-dismissive answer.

... if you have reached the level of PP. To point 2: irrelevant, simple as that. The Nautilus is an understated, elegant sport watch by PP. Understatement can be enhaced by choosing the WG version .... Regards Moritz

Thanks for all the response so far. At the end of the day I just want to know which stays on the wrist longer - maybe wishful thinking but i want this to be my last watch.

And how very true. Yesterday, I took a look at the 5711/1a and the 5167/1a and for me it was the latter that won hands down.

No comments on your items 1 & 3 but with regard to your item 2, it must be the PP5711. The Aquanuat is too casual though it is an excellent watch. Henry Hoe

5711/1A 5167/1A (brown dial), 5711G, caught my eye...tot abt them for a few days...almost took the plunge (on 5167/1A) but held back...cos i know in the end it will be the 5711/1A
