It's a mixed bag.
Things I like:
-The layout of central seconds, aperture windows for month and day, and subdial for date. It is a nod to the 3448 which is the cleanest perpetual calendar dial I've ever seen, and one of my favorite Pateks. I've dreamed of owning one but it's too rare and expensive for me.
-The case is beautiful. I know it looks a bit retro but I'm ok with that.
-The font for the subdial and the logo are wonderful.
Things I don't like:
-The size. 40mm is just too big for a watch this size unless you're a giant.
-The font for the numerals is just too casual.
-The combination of font, dots and minute track make the watch look too busy. This should be an elegant watch.
So, a lot to like, but I wish they'd just reissue the 3448. And the 570. And the 5960P-016. Classic designs in well-proportioned cases.
