Jewelers would be a wrong assumption....
There have been some really good fakes coming out of Japan, I've seen a couple of Rolexs and Breitlings that have fooled the Jewelry dealers from Cherry Creek up in Denver. I took a Breitling to one of my dealers, and he couldn't tell whether it was real or fake. This watch turned out to be a replica, since then I'll only buy vintage watches. There was a Piaget on ebay that had the correct style 9p2 movement, but didn't have the right serial numbers to correspond that this was in fact real. Also some buddies that were in Abu Dabi, told me they can fake almost everything. They are also made of gold/platinum, the world of fakes are getting good.
