Leap year!
I imagine that the "IV" refers to the fourth year of the leap-year cycle, with "I" being the first year after leap year, and so on.
Incidentally, I have had my new 5296G-01 for a few days now (the one with the new-style dial), and it looks even better than its picture on the Patek Website.

5159 not available so far
As far as I know the 5159 has not been delivered yet (in-official sources say because of problems making the dial), I am still waiting for my one and never saw one with ADs or in the grey market nor heard about anybody owning one.

If you think about it is pretty discouraging - considering that it is a watch using caliber that is almost identical to 5059....AND that we are only 2.5 months away from the next Baselwolrd !!! BTW, those chopped off 3 and 9 hour markers would bug the hel...
