Let me chime in as the moderator of this forum. These are the documents I received from Patek specifically on the 5236P last April, before I announced it for WatchProSite. They hopefully contain the information you are looking on this beautiful new PC.
I'm not very familiar with the movements PF uses....but as you can see, the 5236 is an original, in-house model. Patek has of course no ongoing technical collaborations with other brands, which includes PF. I hope this helps!

this is not the same movement. Parmigiani does not work together with Patek. The movements are just similar - like other microrotor-movements. Look at the Chopard LUC 1.96 for example - it looks similar too.

the pf movement is based on a vaucher which is used by others as well. pp microrotor is indeed a different story but: pf gets or did get patek quartz movements, patek gets movement parts from pf (screws)

The dial is amazing. My only somewhat problem is I just got a 5524g and paired it with a blue strap like the 5236p. So I am looking for another strap for the 5236p which will make it pop. Francis
