Hi, Indeed the 5131G has a very limited production, apparently due to its hard to made enamel dial. It is also very much looked after so well known (to ADs) PP collectors probably get them in priority. Furthermore it was launched only this year at Basel (... 

My brother-in-law has been promised the 5131P from his AD. He has looked into the watch a great deal, and it seems that PP under-estimated just how hard it would be to produce the type of quality enamelling required in the volume that would be demanded. H... 

To my knowledge, the enameling is not done in house but by one of the very, very few specialists left. There are other brands using this art: Eric09

Eric, i asked my brother-in-law to check again. Apparently, PP are training two more people in-house to do the enamelling. I asked myself at my AD, who said that he was not sure about the PP methodology but did know that JLC also have in-house enamel expe...
