Maintenance Costs
I agree. Servicing or maintenance cost on a PP is extremely high. I purchased a 5227G, a few years back. The money I spent on straps ($500.00 x2), and insurance were a complete waste. When I asked about the cost for regular servicing and a new spring bar, I knew it was time to sell my PP. Yes, the cost of owning a PP was not for me, but they are fantastic watches for those that can afford the cost and upkeep. I purchased a Rolex GMT Master II BLNR in 2017. Excellent daily wear watch, no need to worry about straps, spring bars, or insurance. Another excellent point with this watch is that, I won't have to think about servicing the watch until 2027, and the RSC are fantastic.

This is why you should only ever use the Patek Philippe service centre...... false economy destroyed your watch.......
I would take it to the Patek Philippe service centre and see the improvement...... Patek is like a Rolls Royce...... you don't use the cheapest mechanic when you have such a fine posession...... ...

Regrettable but not surprising.
Stuff like this can happen with the volume of pieces being serviced and deadlines. Send it back and they will correct.
