An interesting line-up for this year ! Given the intricate enamel dial and MR function, the 5531G naturally is the favorite for me. The grandmaster chime with GR provides a very different feel and looks great. The one with emeralds and diamonds is simply ...
I anticipate to get a laugh that I don't appreciate Patek Philippe enough to qualify to buy the two watches I like. So thus, I'll probably have to keep my kidney! I was already thinking about how I would spend my dialysis appointments. I'd spend them look...
It's too bad we can't grow new kidneys as we get older! Should've sold more kidneys when we were young! And who is JPV in the enamel context? I recall AP is Anita, but I've forgotten who JPV is. This is the signature on the elephant dialed minute repeater...
I checked in the pretty detailed material I have for this reference and it's not indicated, so I should look into this further out of curiosity! Cheers.
PS: Seriously, I don't know which markets they will be allocated yet (the former is being offered as LE of ten pieces, the latter six), but I'd truly love it if you could get one! Fingers crossed!
i just can't figure out the lumed arabic strategy - unless it's just as simple as an attempt to make a gold dress watch look a bit sportier - but it just seems incongruent to me.
Also as mentioned previously it is excellent that WPS have the ear of PP and are involved in the early release of these watches and wonders. Thank you again Julian

However, striking a balance between tradition and innovation is never a simple exercise, and in my (necessarily personal) view, it looks like the current Patek lineup is being *very* successful at it! It will also be interesting to see how Patek's *sports...
Many beautifully made pieces. However, Patek seems to be further away from subtle beauty. This is the first time Patek new releases are not attractive to me.
While I (very much!) appreciate this more modern elegant code, I can totally understand others may not... Hope you'll find further releases that may appeal to you in the future! Cheers.
of all the standard production watches is the 5261R Aquanaut annual calendar. While denominated as a ladies watch (which makes no sense to me) it comes in at 39.9 mm, which less than 1 mm smaller than 5164R. The 5261R is one mm larger than the 4947/1A whi...
I appreciate your interesting and always thoughtful feedback on the new releases....as I mentioned in an earlier reply, even if this gorgeous 5261 in Rose gold is technically designated for Ladies as part of the 'Aquanaut Luce' collection, I agree its siz...
Virtually every collector will find one or more references to dream about within this year's novelties....so let's hope that many members of our great forum will have their dream come true! Cheers.
