i should add that my first love is JLC though ! Reading your posts i think we have this in common (even though my Duometre QL is not among your favourite as it has the cut outs in the front..)
Actually I thought the bracelet was OK, couldn't imagine the strap would give the watch such a push! Now it is the perfect sport watch, sexy and masculine, and allows easily look at the movement.
I have followed this website for a while and never posted yet even though it is now my daily reading! I have just order this PP (my first) and my only concern was the strap. Would love to know where this trap comes from, much better than the original!

A year ago and I loved the conversion,So I bought the watch and Kari got me the strap as a present negotiated the clasp for me as well,A friend in need.... Enjoy yours Alex,But yours has one you spot it? Best, Ahmed
Yes, I think that this combination pleases a lot of members here and give a very different look to this reference. Thank you and enjoy it well Alex Best, Mark
You need to invert your strap (switch the top and bottom attachments), because this is a single-blade, fold-UP clasp, not fold down. You'll find it much more comfortable. -Dean
I like this so much, I have to comment! I was close to pulling the trigger on a 5960 - didn't love the bracelet. Too formal for my lifestyle. Of course, the Boutique sales person highly discouraged the use of any non-PP strap... This makes me think again....
Thank you for sharing. I'm going to copy you if that is ok? . Did you bolster the top of the strap? I ask because the spring bar holes are far down and out on the lugs. Thanks.
Congrats Alex & encouraging few towards temptation to go for the same. Really fascinating strap with matching red stitching as well. Enjoy to fullest ! Cheers . Gautam
For my personal taste the red colour is too obviously matching the watch and that's not my cup of tea. When I get the watch one day I will look out for something more restrained.
But I think the carbon-type calf leather adds a dimension to the strap and the overall look is great... Well just the opinion of a happy owner of course, thanks for chipping in! What would you see as option, perhaps keeping the bracelet?
