..I think the 5712 are more popularized partly because they just pic very well and are rel easy to photograph- social media fame and all that. btw 5085 and 5054 have the same unbalanced dial layouts. In person, white dial sport watch with balanced dial is a sure winner. I seldom see a really gud wristshot of 5726 - no offense - that captures everything this model has to offer. Those date/day/month cutouts, black markers on white background, the depth are really hard to photograph. 5712 doesnt have them neither does 5711.
Anyone can photograph a dark/dusky beauty but it takes serious effort to capture features of a white beauty. Photogenic 5712 vs Splendid 5726 I say!

I would buy this watch with blue dial without hesitation.
White is also quite nice but not a watch I would buy as the first one. For me the blue dial is one of the great elements of a Nautilus. But it's just me. Best, Kari
