Old school lookin’ chronographs always float my boat
Been warming up to a much forgotten reference the PP 5170J during my work trip in New Zealand. So amazed that a classic material such as yellow gold pairs so well when I dress semi-casual. Love the sleak profile of the case and also the homage that its dial has paid to the ref. 130. Not to mention, this is Patek’s first in-house chronograph reference. While this isn’t a blockbuster reference such as the likes of the 5070s and 5970s, it clearly is a great looking timepiece that underscores the importance of timeless, classic design and proportions.
