On the positives..
I like the grand date movement, the 2 discs are level and the gap between is covered up with the window.. Having said that the offcenter seconds and day indications look out of place.
I hope they use this grand date design in other new models in the future.
The watch looks better on a bracelet, and that’s because it’s a nautilus.. just a very angular nautilus. Dial, hands, hr markers are all from the nautilus.
Maybe the cubitus will be easier to get an allocation but will the owner ultimately feel he/she settled because the nautilus was out of reach?

I find the look not bad at all. Out went the usual steel Nautilus just for returning in a square shape. Not really innovative but quite surely commercially effective. The prices in general have gone nuts.
Just over for 40k EUR for the steel version, In 2003 one could get a 3710 for under 10k 🤨
I think this is quite a nice new collection.
Would have preferred a square movement though. Of the three, the stainless steel would be my pick. Design wise it’s essentially a square Nautilus, and I would have preferred something more original, but it’s nice nonetheless.

but does it come with a new movement? or are they, just like the crown, make cosmetic changes and try to milk it while they could 😅
