Patek watchmaker told me..
The Patek watchmaker at the London Salon told me not to be concerned about the noise in my 5296 Calatrava. Apparently the new 324's are louder due to the zirconium bearings used in the rotor.
He said a lot of people came back concerned about the noise as it's louder than previous Patek offerings. Nothing to worry about and just due to the long life bearings used which require no lubrication.

i wondered what they had changed to incur the noise from the previous calibre.
For 5711, Its like a rhythm of a heart beat
and you could also feel the solid weight rotating inside....nice feeling!
